RETHINK STARTING A DIET
It's like we tell the girls during the summer at camp. "This is not the week for you to start a diet." I say the same thing to you about the holiday season. Actually I would say the same thing any day of the year. Dieting is not sustainable.
I talked a little about it yesterday. When you deny yourself what you want at you will more than likely overdo it with something else later. You can not rely on your willpower alone and that is what a restrictive diet requires.
If you recognize that your eating habits could use a change, start thinking about lifestyle changes that you want to implement. Enjoy one cookie and move on. Find ways to make changes that are enjoyable and sustainable in the long run. You'll feel much better in the end.
